Encouraged by YOUTH: AKHTAR
As the unique show on poetry, India Shayari Project will be launched on August 15, iconic poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar shares how he is impressed to observe that the younger generation is keen to understand the beauty and nuances of poetry.
“India has been a country of many great poets and shayars. It is heartening to see the youth wanting to embrace and understand the beauty and nuances of the spoken word,” says Akhtar.
The show will be launched on ZEE5.
Fairtalk - RANVIR SHOREY
‘I think indie cinema works like the R&D department for the business of cinema. You see, in mainstream commercial films, there is huge money involved so it is naturally a profit-making venture. If cinematic excellence is not supported by the big production houses, the sensibility will not change in the business as well as among the larger section of the audience.’
Dailytalk - Shreyas Talpade
‘OTT is definitely an addiction. You won't go to a movie theatre or watch TV for 24 hours. But your phone is there with you all the time. Unfortunately, because of the pandemic situation, we are kind of becoming loners. Whereas earlier we would socialise, that is not happening so regularly now. So we want entertainment and are stuck on our phones.’
Not too keen on acting again: Pompeo
Actor Ellen Pompeo, who is known for her work in the show Grey's Anatomy, hasn't ruled out returning to acting one day, but she isn't ‘super excited’ about continuing her acting career.
“I'm not saying I'll never act again, I very well may, but I'm not super excited about continuing my acting career. I'm more entrepreneurial at this stage,” Pompeo said, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
The actress is excited about investing in businesses and starting businesses.
