Ayushmann wants a negative role

Ayushmann Khurrana is taking the internet by storm as he had uploaded a picture of him as the menacing super-villain Joker.

The actor, who hasn’t played a negative role seems to be relishing his turn as a dark character as imagined by artist Swapnil Pawar through a brilliant artwork.

While uploading the picture he wrote, “Do I really look like a guy with a plan? You know what I am? I’m a dog chasing cars. I wouldn’t know what to do with one if I caught it... I’m an agent of chaos — sinister, menacing, evil, cold, conniving yet brilliant, genius — have always thought of playing a negative character like Joker.”

‘My series Aarya represents strength, determination and above all vulnerability in a world full of crime, a world run by men. For me, it is the story of family, betrayal and a mother, who is willing to go to any length to protect her children. It took me a decade to find a role like this to sink into and I am more than thrilled.’

Actor Kangana Ranaut has taken a dig at Bollywood celebrities who are protesting the killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, US, and taking part in the Black Lives Matter campaign, but preferred to stay silent when two sadhus were lynched in Palghar.

“I feel it has become fancy to be a part of this bandwagon which is relevant to the West. But if you see how Asian celebrities and actors work, they are very impactful in this part of the country. I don't know how they are participating in the socio-political reform of America.”
