I love my freckles: Jacqueline

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez doesn’t consider her freckles a problem but loves them as she has got them from her mother.

She opened up about it when she took to Instagram to ask her followers to share their skin problems with her.

The actress gave beauty advice to the followers who came forward with their queries.

When some users asked about ways to get rid of pimples, the actress of Sri Lankan origin said, “Please don’t touch them. Make sure your face is always cleaned properly and drink lots of water, no sugar.”

‘There is a subconscious holding back when touching the face for fear or pulling the hair of fake beard or nose or whatever prosthetics there are and destroying them. Normalcy has been put away and the feel for the original absconds. Unfortunately all the films to come are also in the similar category. Change the face, put on prosthetics, put hair... It’s like its a must and a given now.’

Dancer-actress Nora Fatehi is back with another recreation of an old hit dance number.

Nora’s new dance is a new-age version of the song Saaki, for the forthcoming John Abraham-starrer, Batla House.

“Getting the opportunity to be able to perform on a song like saaki, which has been made on such an epic level by Tanishk (Bagchi) and sung by Neha (Kakkar) and Tulsi (Kumar), is a dream,” said Nora.

“The best part is I am acting in the film, so my character’s performance to the song leads up to a very important sequence that carries the story forward,” she added.

‘Comments were misconstrued’

Scarlett Johansson says comments she made on the “authentic casting” debate have been taken out of context and asserts that she supports diversity in film.

The actress came under fire in 2017 for playing an Asian character in Ghost in the Shell and canceled plans last year to portray a transgender man in the forthcoming film Rub & Tug, after transgender actors and advocates questioned the casting.

She said actors should be allowed to play any person “because that is my job and the requirement of my job.”
