NTPC’s sustainability report, released by CMD Arup Roy Choudhury, has enviornment at its focal point
NTPC limited, India’s largest power utility released its second sustainability report, “Power to grow responsibly”. Highlighting the company’s step towards sustaining high level performance and greener environment, this report focusses on promoting business sustainability, generating environmentally sustainable power and conserving natural resources such as energy and water.
The report is released by Arup Roy Choudhury, CMD, and directors of NTPC. It is a self-declared A+ report and is in accordance to the GRI G3.1 reporting framework, including appropriate consideration of reporting principles and necessary indicators. The report has been externally assured by the assurance provider, M/s Bureau Veritas Certification (India) Pvt ltd as per AA1000 2008 assurance standard.
