Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) Chennai is well-known for its role in social causes and overall societal development. Chancellor Dr G Viswanathan, vice presidents Sankar Viswanathan, Dr Sekar Viswanathan, G V Selvam and assistant vice president Kadhambari S Viswanathan considered the request of NIEPMD, VIT Chennai has contributed to the National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD) by sponsoring 40 Milton Thermo Flasks with VIT logo to Sri Nachiketa Rout director of NIEMPD.
These flasks were handed over by Dr V S Kanchana Bhaaskaran and additional registrar, Dr P K Manoharan in a function organised by VIT Chennai on January 5 in VIT Chennai Campus.
