Grease important parts of your mean machine and keep its air filters clean

Grease it well

It is recommended to keep your cycle points lubricated by greasing. Regularly oil them, control levers and hinges. Grease these points during rains while it is advisable to oil lubricate during summers.

Shine on

To keep your bike’s shine intact, pamper it with a mild Ph neutral shampoo and a clean soft towel to wash off the dirt rather than scrapping it off. To get rid of the oil stains you can wipe them off with a muslin cloth or any soft sponge mildly dipped in diesel or kerosene. Also, make sure the fuel filters are never clogged.

Engine oil

Change your engine oil or gear oil every three months or as specified in the owner manual and check it before every ride. This ritual should be sincerely followed to increase your bike’s engine life. Also, get the carburetor tuned whenever you can. Every time you switch on the engine, let is sufficiently warm up before you zoom away.

Chains

Drive chains transfer the power of the engine to the rear wheel and is a crucial bike part. Check chain tension whenever possible. While oiling, try doing it immediately after you ride, when the chain is still warm as it reaches the ripple spots easily.

let me breathe

Clean air filter as frequently as possible because clogged air filter means restriction to breathe which in turn can hamper the engine by overheating and straining it. Just as we need fresh air to function efficiently, so does your bike for a competent performance.
