Ajay Devgn demands inquiry against KJo, KRK
looks like the heat in the B-town has gone up once again. Controversies at the time of clash releases is nothing new. But this time it has really gone ugly between Ajay Devgn and Karan Johar. With the clash of their forthcoming movies Shivaay and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil respectively, another controversy has come to light. Ajay has accused Karan Johar of bribing the ‘self proclaimed’ film critic KRK.
lately, an audio clip leaked with Kamaal R Khan revealing that he has been paid Rs 25 lacs by Karan Johar to praise ADHM's teaser. Apparently, the audio clip is doing rounds over the internet. In the audio tape, Kumar Mangat, producer of Shivaay, can be heard talking to KRK. Further in the tape, KRK indirectly points out at KJo for bribing him 25 lacs for praising ADHM. Post the leak of audio clip, Devgn sent out an official statement where he has expressed his displeasure over what just happened. He said, “I have been a part of the Indian film industry for the past 25 years and have been associated with over 100 films. My father was a professional action director and I have an emotional connection with this industry. It therefore pains me to see that people like Kamaal R Khan are holding the film industry to ransom by spreading negativity about films to extort money from producers. It is very sad that people from our own industry are supporting such elements and spoiling the ethos of the film industry. I would strongly demand that this be thoroughly investigated by competent authorities to clarify if Karan Johar was indeed involved in this.” Soon after getting information about this shocking statement actress Kajol also expressed her distress.
According to the reports, Ajay Devgn has demanded an investigation against Karan, who allegedly paid Kamaal R Khan Rs 25 lakhs to post positive reviews about his next film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and give negative reviews of Devgn’s film ‘Shivaay’. KJo, on the other hand, has thanked his fans for giving enormous love to the teaser of ADHM.
As soon as the controversy came to light, KRK took to his social media account and posted that he hasn't heard any audio clip being talked about and hence reserve his comments upon anything. Karan, on the other hand, has kept his silence till now.
