ONGC has taken an initiative to groom its in-house safety experts subsequent to a recent accreditation from QCI for conducting in-house Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) studies.
Distinguished faculties and subject matter experts were recently invited for a two-day workshop on Environmental Clearance (EC) & EIA studies at Scope Minar office, ONGC.
Senior officials of ONGC and invitees debated vital safety issues such as the need to simplify the procedure of EC, so that time taken is reduced; consistent with other developed countries. Visiting faculties spoke about environmental clearance process and gave noteworthy suggestions.
