India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), the public sector undertaking under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism has posted a robust performance for the financial year 2016-17. The results were announced in the Board Meeting of the company held on May 30 at the group’s flagship hotel, The Ashok, New Delhi.The total turnover stood at Rs495.14 crore as compared to Rs465.69 crore in last the financial year clocking a growth of 6.32 per cent. Revenue from operations stood at Rs473.15 crore as compared to Rs437.13 crore in the last fiscal year. Corporation posted profit before tax (PBT) of Rs17.52 crore and profit after tax (PAT) of Rs.12.05 crore this year.
