The NCC was encouraged by this and, through coordinated efforts, aims to achieve this feat. From April to June, NCC trained its cadets in yoga over a period of fifteen days each. For this, nearly 2,700 venues were utilised in India and about 1,800 instructors were employed. The mammoth task of training over 10 lakh NCC cadets was accomplished by all the 17 NCC directorates covering the entire States and Union Territories of the country.
