The Pitstop BrewPub by Smaash offers you the adrenaline rush and excitement through Sky Karting but the food might not impress you much. By Jigyasu Joshi

If you are looking for some adrenaline rush and the perfect pit stop thereafter to relax, recharge and refuel, head to Smaaash Sky Karting and Pitstop Brewpub. Both Sky Karting and Pitstop Brewpub are a first-of-its-kind in the city. The Smaaash Sky Karting holds the title of being the most advanced and the only multi-tiered karting circuit in Delhi-NCR, whereas the Pitstop Brewpub is India's biggest Truck restaurant and bar.

As soon as we reached there and we saw many karting enthusiasts waiting for their turn to try the most advanced karts in the country as well as the spectacular, world-class racing track. After waiting quite a while for our turn in the queue, taking selfies and random chit-chat, we finally entered the karting area. It was like entering a futuristic time and space that had us completely spellbound. The karting area is huge, carries a bluish tinge and features an assortment of neon lights along and around the track, which seems like a scene from a sci-fi movie. Soon, we were strapped into out karts, helped by the staff members who ensured that we were secured and ready to experience the adrenaline rush we all have been waiting for. And truly amazing it was; these seemingly smallish karts pack a punch, as they are powered by powerful electric engines, ensuring a thrilling experience. We all had great fun at the karting arena and when it was over, we were left wanting for more.  Evenings are better to race, when the zone converts into a blue light zone, adds to the drama.

The food at the place was not as exciting. We started off with peppery cheese bites. The deep fired bites were not aptly stuffed with cheese and the extra oil shined on the covering. The sweet chilli dip was again an unnecessary add-on. Next on our table were stuffed mushrooms thyme and basil. The mushrooms were well cooked and the stuffing of spinach and cheese added to the flavours. The dish made up for a good small bar bites. The chicken tikka was again average and could have been marinated more in spices. We then ordered galouti kebab. The soft kebabs tasted fine and were in proper shape when served. The mix of spices in the kebab was exact and the dish tasted near perfect.

After not very satisfying start we went on to order the brew kart lovers pizza. The thin crust wooden fired pizza was topped with onion, tomato, capsicum, american corn, mushrooms and pickle chilli. The toppings were bland and the pizza overall was also average.

Overall the experience with food at the place was not tad bit exciting. However, sky karting saved our day. So, for the weekends if you are searching for a place to spend some adventures time and are not much hungry, this is sure a place for you.
