Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has signed Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) with five electric supply companies of Karnataka for supply of 450 Megawatt (MW) of power to the state. The agreement was signed by Amitava Nayak, executive director (commercial), on behalf DVC and by the managing directors of the respective ESCOMs in Bangalore.
Among others, DK Shivakumar, minister for energy, Karnataka, Kaushik Mukherjee, IAS and chief secretary, Karnataka and G Kumar Naik, IAS and chairman and managing director of Power Company of Karnataka limited were present at the function.
