Tata Power Delhi Distribution inaugurated electric charging stations for electric two-wheelers in North and North West Delhi. This environment friendly initiative is expected to benefit over 10,000 electric two wheelers owners in the Tata Power Delhi-DDl area.
The first station has been inaugurated at Pitampura and the second one has been set up near Maurice Nagar Police Station, Hudson lines, Kingsway Camp. At the stations, people can charge their two wheelers for free of cost.
Commenting upon the environment friendly initiative, Praveer Sinha, CEO and MD, Tata Power Delhi-DDl said, “As a responsible corporate, we are constantly rolling out environment friendly initiatives for the benefit of the people and the betterment of Delhi. Setting up of free e-charging stations for electric two wheelers is a step in that direction only. I am sure the move will not only contribute towards reduction of vehicular pollution in Delhi but will also encourage people to opt for pollution free modes of commutation.”
