Dr Roy Choudhury gave a comprehensive view of the world power scenario and special requirements of India as a developing economy to the new joinees. He emphasised on the mission of the NTPC to provide reliable power at competitive rates. The meritorious Executive Trainees of 2011 batch who had topped in various streams were also awarded on the occasion by the CMD and Directors.
