Director (Technical) of NTPC limited AK Jha has laid the foundation of the five MW solar photovoltic power project at village Jhajro, Faridabad. N Mishra, General Manager of Faridabad station gave a brief about the layout plan of the project and the transmission line to be erected for connecting the plant with the grid.
Jha was welcomed by the happy villagers as the state is getting another environment friendly solar power project from NTPC. The soil investigation and contracting process is over. Some approvals are yet to be taken from the state administration. The target to synchronise the project is December 2013.
