They say way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Well that holds true for a woman too. And we realised the same when we decided to pay a visit to locale bar and lounge, on one of these evenings for a delightful grub. The homey feel will catch on you once you spend some time in the library on the first floor. The corner is most suited for book lovers who would find their perfect den in that particular corner.
It is complimented by the sunset tables through which one can enjoy the lush green scene and enjoy the serene sunset spotting. The other corner of the floor is mainly occupied by the sporty people, mainly teens as it comprises gaming zone with a variety of video games and graffiti serving as the backdrop. At the lower floor one can have the privilege to dance till they drop. The set up gets changed in that case, but without upsetting the calm of other customers. The place is perfect illustration of safe enjoyment without any hindrance to the privacy of the tables.
The evenings are usually graced with the presence of bands like Ikrah and people can enjoy the musical nights accompanied with the sumptuous food. We started with vegetable column which was cigar filled with mushroom and corn- a crispy and juicy number with sweet corn acting like cherry on the cake for us. There is a saying, ‘A recipe has no soul, but the cook brings soul to the recipe.’ Proving it true the next dish turned out to be a must try - deep fried and rolled prawn in bread with a tail of sweet and sour relish complimenting it well. The cheese stuffed paneer tikka was one of the dishes that reminded us of home baked paneer and was placed on the table with mint and pineapple sauce.
One can also enjoy the Italian cuisine on the menu which consists of different varieties of pizzas but the one which had our heart stuck on it was the BBQ chicken pizza. The starters also have soft mutton balls which were not that soft, but can still manage to satisfy those looking for some spicy stuff. The chicken lovers can enjoy a large, wide choice of chicken dishes which includes chicken malai tikka, chicken tikka masala in the starters and star fry chicken with bamboo shoot in the main course. Well, the most important ingredient behind an awesome recipe is the thought of giving happiness once the food is served," said the chef. Moreover, we have to see what we are serving on the platter.
The menu is an apt example of food for the soul and not the body and the best option for that and to take a top-notch break from the scorching heat is to have a bottle of oreo shake. The bar also claims to have one of the best burgers served ever. Moreover, the agony, the pain, the lust, the desire and every other emotion dissolves as the food enters the mouth. It's always the good food which will take your senses on a high note.
The cold glass of apple sparkle was one drink that can be taken to rest the bellies after the hot and spicy course. Undoubtedly, the food cannot be eased off until the dessert. So, sizzling brownie with a dollop of an ice-cream gave us what we were looking for. Moreover, laughter is brightest where food is good, that's something we learned at this café cum bar.
