Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, is it worth the waitIJ

Samsung had launched the S8 and S8+ flagship smartphones in India recently. Users can pre-order the phones at stores and online currently and the phones are expected to go on sale this week. I managed to spend some quality time with both the phones and here are my thoughts.  The main highlight of these phones is the infinity display which is almost near bezel-less. In terms of the specs, the phones are powered by a quad core Exynos processor with 4GB of RAM.  Should I get the S8 or S8+IJ The main difference between the S8 and S8+ is the screen size, 5.8 inches on the S8 and 6.2 inches on the S8+. If you are a person who prefers a small screen, even S8 is going to be big for you and the S8+ is not recommended. If you like a large display and tend to use the phone a lot, the larger screen on the S8+ and the 3500mAh battery is going to come in handy. Since there is no physical home button like before, Samsung has moved the fingerprint sensor to the back and you are likely to smudge the camera rather than use the fingerprint scanner. luckily there is an iris scanner and facial recognition which is a good alternative. Camera quality seems to be on par with the Galaxy S7 but still lags behind the Google Pixel and iPhone 7 Plus. The phones run on Android 7.0 with Samsung’s custom UI on top of it which seems vastly improved over the S7. Despite the minor quirks, the Galaxy S8 and S8+ are great devices and one of the best from Samsung.
