Penguin India is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with a contest. Just as in the book, five children and their accompanying adults will be chosen for a magical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory tour this November! Visit www.amazon.in/roalddahlcontest and answer five questions about the book to win this all-expenses paid trip to london.

The winners will get to watch the spectacular Charlie and the Chocolate Factory musical in london’s West End, visit The Roald Dahl Museum and Story Centre in Great Missenden and take a trip around the london offices of Roald Dahl’s UK publisher Puffin.

The popular children’s book narrates the story of Charlie Bucket and the adventure he embarks upon into the magical land of Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory. Born into a poor family Charlie grows up listening to stories about the chocolate palace that Willy Wonka built and how he had to shut it down because spies stole his recipes. However, news arrives that Mr Wonka is set to open his chocolate factory and has made arrangements for five people to visit it when it opens. Only people who find a lucky golden ticket (which he hides in chocolate wrappers) will be allowed to enter his magical land. Charlie Bucket is lucky enough to find a golden ticket along with Augustus Gloop, Violet Beauregarde, Veruca Salt and Mike Teavee, who lands in the magical world of chocolates and  the  strange little people Oompa-loompas. And the most queer element of the adventure you may askIJ It’s Willy Wonka himself!
