Chairman and Managing Director, India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO), l.C. Goyal, laid the foundation stone for the Hostel Block at Institution for the Blind. Present on the occasion were Shubhra Singh, ED, ITPO, Rakesh Gupta, ED, NBCC, S.R. Sahoo, GM, ITPO, other senior officials from ITPO, NBCC and Institution for the Blind.
Goyal expressed that it was a great satisfaction and a proud moment for all ITPO’s employees for taking up such a project of construction of a Hostel Block at Institution for the Blind where ITPO will contribute `52 lakh. Emphasising on an urgent need to provide high standard welfare and support to Divyang, he pointed out that all human deserve a good quality and dignified life and Divyang have extraordinary talent and skills to play an active role in nation building. He added, “It is an effort to support inclusive growth and quality upbringing for the blind. Apart from the construction of the Hostel Block, ITPO would also upgrade the toilets facilities in the institution.”
