Mansi Kulshrestha, the President of the Northern Railway Women Welfare Organisation (NRWWO) and other members of NRWWO planted saplings at various locations of Northern Railway.
The NRWWO team visited and planted samplings at Adharshila nursery school, railway officers club, Nikhar beauty parlour and the health unit of Northern Railway in the officers colony at Sardar Patel Marg and Northern Railway, headquarters office, Baroda House.
Connecting people with nature
The World Environment Day was celebrated at Team Refineries Headquarters along with Vijay Prakash, Executive Director (I/c), and SM Vaidya, Executive Director (Operations), AK Chowdhury, Executive Director (HR), RHQ. A special poster on this year’s theme ‘Connecting people with nature’ was unveiled by On the occasion Prakash shared, “The need of the hour is to modulate all our daily personal and business activities towards preservation of nature.”
CRPF ropes in children to plant saplings
CRPF family Welfare Association (CWA) celebrated the World Environment Day at GC, CRPF, Sonipat Haryana with Manu Bhatnagar, President, CRPF family Welfare Association was the Chief Guest. Bhatnagar along with Shalu lakhtakia, Vice President and other members of CWA and children planted saplings.
HUDCO takes awareness pledge
On World Environment Day, Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) officials took the green pledge. HUDCO has dedicated itself to the cause of sustainable habitat development through its lending, CSR and capacity building activities. Dr. Ravi Kanth emphasised the need to sensitise people to make lifestyle changes, minimise waste and save water to improve the environment for the future generation.

The World Environment Day was celebrated at NTPC, Dadri. S. Sinha, GGM (Dadri) inaugurated the ‘Awareness Walk’ at Vidyut Nagar and joined the walk along with senior officials, employees, ladies, children and residents of Vidyut Nagar. He also inaugurated the mass tree plantation drive by planting the sapling and administered the environment pledge to the employees.
