The Medical camp was organized to commemorate the Raising of Assam Rifles on March 24 1835. The Medical camp was inaugurated by Col litton Dhar, Commandant 28 Assam Rifles. The Civil administration whole heartedly supported the event.

All necessary assistance was provided by Robin lotha, DC Wokha, Chunwenthun Khurung, SP Wokha, Thavaseelan K, SDO and Zuben lotha, PRO, Wokha. 28 Assam Rifles, under the aegis of 5 Sector Assam Rifles not only provided medical assistance to the Ex-servicemen but also organised a ‘Grievances Cell’ to address their problems.
