Floral motifs have made a comeback — from curtains to cushion covers, tiles and fabrics. Experts say that it is because people are trying to add the old English chintzy look of bright colours to their interiors. “There are two kinds of floral prints that have come up. One is the modern floral motifs where the design of the flower is modern. It is generally very vibrant and bold in its colour palette. The other is old floral pattern which uses classical and subtle shades. The colours for the season are rose pink, orange and dull shades of red with a matt look,” says Rohit Khemka of RR Decor. Floral designs in black and white will be the crowd-pullers this season.
