Farhan Akhtar talks about his endorsements, love for direction and Bejoy Nambiar’s Wazir
lessons in sincerity should be learnt from Farhan Akhtar. It seems the actor is damn serious (read sincere) about everything he gets involved with. Be it his brand endorsements, social campaigns or professional commitments. The actor who was here recently to launch the The Dulux Visualiser app took to Twitter page to promote the app after the official announcement. “They just made choosing simpler.. launched the Dulux Visualizer, a cool, fun & easy to use app.. Check it out (sic),” he wrote.
Though the actor seems to be on an endorsement spree, he says that he has been particular about the brands that he endorses. “I don’t think I have been doing a lot of them. At present, I just have seven. I am only working with people I love working with,” said the actor who has been visiting Delhi frequently for the shoot of his forthcoming film Wazir. “Shooting for Wazir is quite nostalgic. I shot for lakshya in Delhi, too. It has been going good so far. The story, script and character I am playing are the three defining factors that made me choose this film. later I got to know that Amitabh Bachchan will be a part of it. Bejoy Nambiar is directing it, I really liked his work in Shaitan, so I was looking forward to work with him,” he said.
The actor, director and producer is also shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do. It has been pretty long since he directed a film, but he says that he will decide on his next directorial venture soon. “I kept away from direction so far because of my acting commitments. After completing Wazir, I only have one commitment to complete as an actor. I have been waiting to complete everything so that I can decide about my next project as a director. It has been long since I directed a film and I am missing it now,” he shared.
