Bharat Heavy Electricals limited (BHEl) has paid an interim dividend of 40 per cent for fiscal 2016-17. In value terms, the dividend paid amounts to `194.8 crore. A cheque of `123.47 crore towards the interim dividend for the year 2016-17 on the equity (63.06 per cent) held by the Government of India, was presented here to Anant G. Geete, Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises by Atul Sobti, Chairman and Managing Director, BHEl, in the presence of Girish Shankar, Secretary, department of heavy industry.
