As per an order dated July 1, 2013, appointments at the level of Regional Executive Directors and Airport Director, Kolkata have been made. Suddasatwa Bhaduri, PSRK Sudhakar and Anil Kumar Sharma have been appointed with immediate effect as Regional Executive Directors, Eastern Region, North Eastern Region, Western Region respectively and Dr BP Sharma has been appointed Airport Director, NSCBI Airport, Kolkata. All these officers carry with them rich professional experience earned in various assignments in AAI and other organizations and all are highly qualified and decorated officers.
Dr BP Sharma is an Engineering Graduate with MBA and PhD in Business Administration. Presently, he is working Executive Director (Project) at Kolkata Airport. He has a vast experience in Civil Aviation of more than 28 years. He holds membership of various professional bodies such as International lighting Society of Engineers, Management Association of India and Institution of Engineers (India). Dr B P Sharma has joined Airports Authority of India in 1984. He possesses wide range of experience having worked in various capacities like Executive Director (Engg), General Manager (Engg) and Airport Director at various airports like Delhi Airport, Hyderabad Airport, and Srinagar Airport. Besides this, he has worked as Technical Experts for five years with the Government of Mauritius under United Nation and as an Engineering Expert with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) for two years.
PSRK Sudhakar joined NAA of AAI in April,1990 as an Executive Engineer. Out of 30 years of his total post qualification career, in AAI he has so far put in 23 years of service and successfully completed many airport works at Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad ,Trichy and Madurai airports. He was promoted as GM – Engg in July,2006 and since Jan, 2011 he has been working as Director of Pune Airport. He had received his M Tech in Transportation Systems Engg from IIT, Kanpur in 1982. Attended Aviation Management Programme conducted by the IIM, Ahmedabad in 2010. He is a Fellow of Institute of Engineers.
Suddhasawata Bhaduri has taken over the charge of Regional Executive Director (Eastern Region), NSCBI Airport, Kolkata wef June 10 2013. BE (Civil) from Jadavpur University, Kolkata & MTech. from IIT, Delhi, his professional career spanned for 10 years serving in at various organisations which is Bridge & Roof Co. (India) ltd. & consultancy firm of Development Consultant Pvt ltd before joining Airports Authority of India (AAI) in 1989 as Executive Engineer and since then completed 24 years of service till date at various capacities in Headquarters as Planning Engineer and then worked as General Manager in various Regions as Engineering Head.
