Umang Tewari, one of the emerging restaurateurs in the Capital, launched a mobile application where customers would be able to reserve a seat and get a loyalty with just a click. The app was launched by Bollywood diva Kangana Ranaut, Arjita Mishra reports

Unlike other actresses, we don’t usually see Kangana Ranaut involving herself in endorsements. But she was in the city to launch an application, Big Fish Ventures, of a young restaurateur Umang Tewari at Junkyard.

The application will allow people to reserve their seats, get loyalty points and will keep them updated with upcoming events. “Through this App, our customer will get the benefits of discount and cash back offers. If you are keeping some money in the wallet, then you will get some discount,” said Tewari.

Giving an approximate data, he said, “We will bring over two lakh customers on the app by the end of this year. We are planning to invest over three to four million dollars over the next three years.”

Talking about the app, Ranaut said, “This app is helpful for people like us who make their plan on the spot. So, they can just book their table, choose the menu and do a lot more things through this app.” She added, “The most exciting part is that you get points. The more you use the app, the more points  you get.”

As we all know that Ranaut is not active on social media, she gives the reason behind it. “If anyone is active on it (social media) then you get a platform to keep your views. But the bad part of being on social media is that people can target you easily. They make trolls. This is also one of the reasons why I am not on social media,” she pointed out.

To reach more and more of its customers, the app is available on Google play store for android users and Apple store for Apple user.

When Ranaut was asked about her journey from a small city to Bollywood, she replied, “Every girl has a big dream which is regardless of whether she is from a big city or a small one. Women are strong and are capable of doing everything. They just need to believe in themselves. They just need to be confident and follow their gut instincts.”
