How lucky am I to have a father like youIJ” Shekhar Kapur, Farah Khan and Anupam Kher also tweeted their birthday wishes to Anil.

‘Some of my words (bhangi) from an interview in the past have been misinterpreted. It was never said with the intent of hurting anyone's feelings and apologise if they have. I am proud to belong to a country that boasts of diverse castes and creeds and I respect each one of them.’
