Journey with My Shadow is a solo painting and drawing exhibition by Inderjeet. Influenced by Impressionism, his paintings reflect his love for realism. Inderjeet represents his thoughts in a semi- abstract way using spatula as his favourite tool. He was initially inspired by well-known Indian abstract painter Ram Kumar for using this tool but steadily he shaped his expression in his distinct style. He captures a fresh
and original vision in Impasto style. Colours are applied side by side with as little mixing as possible, a technique that exploits the principle of simultaneous contrast to make the colour appear more vivid to the viewers.
