Films should never be remade
R Balki says that he doesn't believe in remaking films.
Regarding remaking his films into other languages, he said in an interview: “You should never remake a film because if somebody has already made it, why should one remake itIJ”
“I always feel that a story should be invented... I get the motivation when I think of a story which hasn't happened before, or something that should've happened, but didn't. Till now, I have been thinking that way, don't know about it later,” he added.
He also said that he does not think along the lines of making a Rs100 or Rs200 crore film, or a film like Airlift, or biopics like Neerja, but rather wants to just write anything interesting that comes to mind.
Balki, who has directed films like Cheeni Kum has said that he was always interested in watching films, and continued watching them regularly even when was into computer engineering.
I am not a writer (on her book Sweet Dreams). This is something I have tried for the first time. Short stories are difficult to write because you have to develop different characters. It has to get to the point so that was very challenging| SUNNY lEONE
Amitabh Bachchan feels filmmaking is a “delicate art”, as it brings various arts together.“Filmmaking is such a delicate art. Painting, architecture, music, dance, speech, mood, colours and bars... Everything all put into one big canvas (sic),” he posted on his blog, adding, “laughter and smiles and the liberty of happy exchange on the sets... Even though there is the severity of the text and the environ of the story and the content (sic).”
Headey ‘shamed' by nurse fan
lena Headey says she was “shamed” by a Game Of Thrones fan nurse while she was trying to breastfeed her daughter.
The 42-year-old was getting to grips with nursing her baby daughter in the days after she was born in July last year and couldn't believe what happened when she sought some lactation advice from hospital staff, reports a website.
Speaking on The late late Show, Headey, whose character Cersei lannister in Game of Thrones was “shamed” during the season five finale by having to walk through the streets of King's landing naked as punishment for adultery, recalled: “In the early stages of breastfeeding, you have to kind of get the milk in, that takes a bit of ‘hand milking' of sorts”. “So my fella was trying to do it and the nurse said to me, 'I think we should swap,' and I went, 'Yeah,' because I was about to punch him because it was like milking a goat (sic),” she said.
