‘Wazir has a special script’
Farhan Akhtar says his forthcoming film Wazir has a special script and that he was blown away by it. Akhtar, who will be seen as an ATS officer in the Bejoy Nambiar directorial, said, “lakshya had just released then and Vidhu (Vinod Chopra) happened to be there at the screening. He called me and said that he did not like the second half of lakshya.” He added, “Since then I respect his honesty regarding movies he makes or any of his work. That time he informed about this script and he wanted my feedback on that. That was in 2004 and the next time I met him in 2014. When I heard the script, I was blown away.”
Karan Singh Grover, who can be seen doing intimate scenes in the Hate Story 3 trailer, got compared to Bollywood's “Bad Man” Gulshan Grover by comedian Bharti Singh on the sets of the TV show Comedy Nights Bachao.
As Grover was not present, she teased the actor by bringing his cut out on stage.
She said, “Today we also have Gulshan Grover amongst us on the show. I know this is Karan Singh Grover, but the type of things he is doing in the film are even worse than Gulshan Grover.”
Spectre a weak story: Brosnan
Former 007 Pierce Brosnan says he is disappointed with the latest Bond film Spectre. In an interview with HitFix, Brosnan shared his less-than-glowing review of the 24th Bond film. “I was looking forward to it enormously. I thought it was too long. The story was kind of weak - it could have been condensed. It kind of went on too long. It really did,” the actor said. The actor, who played the super-spy in four films from 1995 to 2002, went on to say that Spectre didn’t quite feel like a Bond film. He did, however, have some kind words about the current Bond, Daniel Craig. “Spectre is neither fish nor fowl. It’s neither Bond nor Bourne. Am I in a Bond movieIJ Not in a Bond movieIJ But Daniel, in the fourth go-round, has ownership of it. He had a nice looseness to him,” he said. “I think he found a great sense of himself in this one with the one-liners and a nice playfulness there. Just get a tighter story, and he’ll have another classic,” he added.
