legendary notes
Classic legends Season 3 is back with its third episode airing this Sunday on Zee Classic. Javed Akhtar will provide viewers a sneak peek into the lives of musical legends Shankar and Jaikishan. Widely popular as one of the most talented musicians from the evergreen times of Indian Cinema, the musician duo Shankar-Jaikishan have contributed greatly to the music scene back in the fifties and the sixties and have served as a source of inspiration to young composers till date. Akhtar will provide the audience a glimpse into their lives, their careers and how they moulded music and the musical moods of the masses since 1949.
Recalling Shankar’s younger days, Javed Saab said that Shankar was not only an excellent tabla player but also very keen to improving his existing knowledge in tabla playing. He further went on to reveal that when he used to attend devotional programmes at the temple as a kid, his father felt very proud of his son’s musical talents and named him Shankar, way before young Shankar even recognised his own hidden talent let alone his interest in learning the tabla.
That's hot!
The hot and steamy trailer for Fifty Shades Of Grey is out and has created storm on social media. It showed the lead couple Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson indulging in some really smoky scenes. In the two-and-a half-minute preview, character of Anastasia is shown in a blindfold and Christian is seen undressing his beau in his bedroom, before taking her to see his ‘playroom.' Beyonce's beautiful voice in the backdrop is a perfect icing on the cake.
