SK Sharma, executive director (Projects), POWERGRID Northern Region-II handed over an ambulance to Government Medical College, Jammu. Ganshyam Dev Gupta, principal of the college received the ambulance in presence of senior doctors of the college and senior officers of POWERGRID.
Power Grid Corporation of India ltd(POWERGRID), realising the indispensable role of ambulance services in emergency pre-hospital medical care, patient transfer, ease of access to health services particularly to rural/difficult areas has undertaken initiative of providing ambulances to government hospitals/medical colleges/rural health centers as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility program.
