In a moving one hour special, National Geographic Channel will celebrate the life of one history’s most powerful and dynamic figures, tracing his momentous rise from political prisoner to South Africa’s first black President. Mandela: His life and legacy will be aired tonight at 11 pm.
look who’s back!
After winning accolades, Charu, in Zee TV’s Sapne Suhane ladakpan Ke, the pretty Anchal Khurana went missing from the scene. And, now she has returned on the show and will be doing what she does best — wreck havoc in the lives of the Garg family. Her entry is being shrouded in mystery and one would not know her real motives.
A sword fight
The promos of life OK’s The Adventures of Hatim are out and Rajbir Singh seems to have struck the right chord. The model turned actor from Punjab is cast opposite Pooja Banerjee who plays Perizaad. Pooja rose to fame with her stint in Roadies 8.0. The two actors who had to undergo rigorous training in sword fighting to fit the bill have now seemed to have taken immense liking for the sport. They are often seen practicing and rehearsing their scenes and have broken 18 swords that has put the production house in a fix. A source says, “Rajbir and Pooja love practising sword fighting and that has helped them improve their on screen chemistry. However they have broken 18 swords already and when we finally to take a scene, we are not left with anything. It has become quite a joke on the sets. But we are not complaining, since we are happy that the two actors are so committed and dedicated to the show.”
Shahid shakes a leg
The premiere episode of Sony’s Boogie Woogie is going to be full of entertainment as Prabhudeva and Shahid Kapoor are going to kick off the new season in style. The episode will see Prabhudeva and Shahid Kapoor making an entry on their movie songs. They will be seen promoting their upcoming film R…Rajkumar. Prabhudeva will reveal that Boogie Woogie is his favourite show and speak in hindi saying, ‘Nritya ek adbhut kala hai’.
The episode will start with the performances of the three judges Javed, Naved and Ravi. Shahid will be seen on a dancing spree as he couldn’t control his urge to dance with the contestants. He will dance with Sagar Mishra on the song Dhating Nach and with Sneha Chauhan and her mother on Mat Mari. Watch the episode tonight at 8.30 pm.
