Power Pavilion’ of Ministry of Power at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) will present the achievements of the sector and their collective contribution and endeavor towards inclusive growth of the country.
Education, sanitation, medical and self employment schemes being undertaken by the sector at project and National level shall be highlighted as part of the inclusive growth.
Energy conservation, capacity addition, generation, transmission and rural electrification activities are also being showcased through dio-rama, working models, films and blowups for the benefit of the visitors. Stationed at hall number 11 at Pragati Maidan the pavilion will house the power sector majors like NTPC, Powergrid, SJVN, PFC, NEEPCO, DVC and REC. Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIl) is also participating as an important associate of the sector. Other important contributors to the sector NPTI, BEE and CPRI shall also be part of the show.
‘Nukkar Natak’ by BEE providing energy conservation tips to the visitors is expected to be the major attraction at the pavilion. Ministry of Power pavilion is a major participant in the fair over the years and received the silver medal for its excellent display last year along with silver certificates for all its constituents.
