Huma to play Meena KumariIJ

After directing films like Bhatti On Chutti and Mittal Vs Mittal among others, Karan Razdan now plans to make a biopic on the legendary actress Meena Kumari. The director is thinking of Huma Quereshi playing the Tragedy Queen but hasn't approached her yet.

“I have spent about four years to do the research and write the script. We have just finished the script and we will start shooting from early next year,” said Razdan.

“Meena Kumari's life and her journey has been very fascinating. We want someone who could justify her role and I think Huma Quereshi will fit the bill. I want to cast her for the biopic. We have not approached her so far, but my team will be talking to her soon,” he added.

I think this was a beautiful format where we had films like Wanted, Dabangg etc. Now everybody has overdone it so much that it might die away. These kinds of films are popular but the creativity is becoming less

‘Porn can be sexually liberating’

Actress Scarlett Johansson, who is seen in porn addiction comedy Don Jon, has admitted she is a fan of artistic adult films that don't degrade women. “Pornography can be degrading or can be sexually liberating, if you know how to use it and it is made from an artistic point of view,” a website quoted the 28-year-old. “But Don Jon is not a film about pornography, it is a social criticism against consumerism,” she added.

She retains her modesty in the comedy as the seductive girlfriend Barbara, a character she could identify with. “I loved the sweetness of Barbara. like her, I grew up with young people like them, well educated, perfect. They are a very determined group of New Jerseyites. In fact, I refer to Joseph Gordon-levitt, actor and director of the film, helping to shape the character,” Johansson said.
