Manna Dey hospitalised
Playback singer Manna Dey has been hospitalised and is undergoing dialysis, confirmed Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital, Bengaluru, adding he will be kept under observation for some time.
“He was admitted last Thursday due to respiratory and kidney problems. He was put on ventilator when he arrived but has now been taken off it. He is conscious and is currently undergoing dialysis,” the spokesperson said. This is the second time in five months that Dey, 94, has had to be taken to hospital. The singer was in the same hospital for about 20 days in May and again in June.

Radcliffe is not in Rowling’s project
Actor Daniel Radcliffe has ruled out that he is a part of Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, which marks Harry Potter author JK Rowling's debut as a screenplay writer. Fantastic Beasts... is a movie based on a Hogwarts textbook from the Potter movies, but Rowling has revealed that her new venture is neither a prequel nor a sequel to the Harry Potter series, but it will be an extension of the wizarding world. Radcliffe has confirmed he will not be involved in the project.
“I first thought, ‘Thanks Jo, I'm going to have to answer tons of questions about this now'. I'm sure they're going to have a great time (making it). I'm sure most people are really excited about it,” the 24-year-old was quoted. “Needless to say I wouldn't be involved in it and I guess none of the others (from the Harry Potter films) will be, but I know absolutely nothing about it,” he added.
