Action is tough, so am I: Madhuri
She dances like a swan, but for her new film Gulaab Gang, actress Madhuri Dixit has tried some kicking and punching. She admits action is tough, but says she is tough too.
“I've done action for the first time... It is tough to do action, but I am a tough person and I enjoyed doing it. I love action films both Hollywood and Bollywood as well as in Chinese films,” Madhuri said on the sidelines of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) extravaganza.
Apart from trying some action, Madhuri has exercised her other talent of singing in the film too.“I have sung as well. I sung as it was appropriate in the film. But I haven't thought if I want to continue singing in the future,” she said.

The Makers of Table no 21 are making a come back with 10 Janpath. The movie will star Paresh Rawal and Amit Sadh of Kai Po Che fame. “10 Janpath is a political thriller and it will be directed by Aditya Datt whom we’ve previously worked with in Table no 21. Apart from the fact that it’s a political eye-opener there’s not much I can reveal at this stage,” said producer Viki Rajani.
‘American Idol was great’
Singer Nicki Minaj, who judged singing reality show American Idol, says being a part of it was a wonderful learning experience.
“My experience was great! It was a blessing. I had a wonderful time and I learned a lot about myself; I learned a lot about the world's perception of me,” a website quoted Minaj as saying.
“I think it was a great thing for hip-hop to see me transcend, and then I can come come back and still do the BET Awards and still be authentic in what I do,” she added. The show was inspiring for her as well. “It was really inspiring, and I got a chance to see kids fulfill their dreams and be part of that. No complaints whatsoever,” she said.
