Issues pertaining to preparations for upcoming Assembly elections in five States and strategies to bring together non-Congress and non-BJP parties on a common platform before general elections 2014 will be discussed at a meeting held by the CPI(M) leadership, which begins in the Capital on Saturday.
The party politburo, which has decided to put up candidates in four of the five States going to polls, has called the two-day meet to give final touches to its strategy for the upcoming electoral battle, CPI(M) sources said.
