Pakistan creating unrest in J&K, says Sushma

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Saturday took on Pakistan leadership for sympathising with terrorists and accused them for creating unrest in Jammu & Kashmir.

"In the last few days, leadership of Pakistan, including its PM has praised a wanted terrorist Commander of the banned terrorist organisation Hizb-ul Mujahideen, Burhan Wani as martyr. He was carrying an award of `10 lakh because he had perpetrated heinous crimes," Swaraj said a day after Sharif said that he is waiting for the day when Kashmir becomes part of Pakistan. Sharif is also trying to internationalise the issue by portraying Indian Government and Army as villains and terming Kashmir unrest as fight for freedom.

However, Swaraj retaliated that country which has used fighter planes and artillery against millions of its own people has no right to point a finger at the Indian security forces. "Their restraint and respect for their fellow citizens is evident in the unusually high number of the injured personnel- more than 1700 - in the violence unleashed with the support from across the border in Jammu and Kashmir," the Minister said, while terming security forces as brave, professional and disciplined.
