The glam jodi of Madhuri, Remo and KJo are back to woo their audience with a special promo of Jhalak. Team Sunday reports
Madhuri Dixit Nene, turned teacher to her fellow co- judges at the Jhalak Dikhlaja sets. The three judges will be dancing for the first time together for the special promos of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa on Colors to be aired soon.
Mads will be seen dancing to the tunes of the legendary song 1, 2 - Cha Cha from the film Shalimar picturised on Aruna Irani . She will also be teaching steps to Karan Johar and Remo Fernandes for the next promo of Jhalak…
We all know the ‘Ek Do Teen’ girl’s passion for dancing and her skills as the dancing diva! But now we see that this gifted Kathak dancer has an amazing ability to pick up any dance form with ease including the international ones. At the shoot for the promos of the new season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa on Colors, the diva can be seen wearing a red flamenco dancer outfit and performing the popular Cuban ballroom dance form — Cha-cha-cha.
Mads agrees that this is a completely new dance form for her but she is at ease. Karan Johar on the other hand was not very sure of being able to match upto her steps.
Encouraging the director was also fellow judge on the show and ace dancer Madhuri Dixit. She says, “I kept telling KJo that if he can dance on Radha, then why not this. He really took my advice and put his best foot forward. It is so great to finally see him dance and the best part was we loved dancing with him”.
The witty director who loves Bollywood dance had quite a time learning Cha-cha while shooting for the promo.
He says, “I know the latkas and jhatkas of Bollywood dancing which I can still pick up easily but this international dance format for a completely new ball game.
It is all about the right technique and posture which one has to follow thoroughly. However, I must say Remo is an excellent instructor,” Karan says.
