After bagging back to back big roles in 24 opposite Anil Kapoor and Rahasya opposite Kay Kay Menon,Tisca Chopra is all excited about her next big film Ghayal Once Again, directed by Sunny Deol
Tell us about your upcoming Bollywood movie Ghayal Once AgainIJ
Ghayal Once Again will hit the theatres on January 15, 2016. I play an integral role in it. It’s directed by Sunny Deol and is a magnum opus.
How was your experience working with Ram Charan in South Indian movie Bruce leeIJ
Ram Charan is a talented actor. I am very surprised to know that he is not just into acting but is also an entrepreneur and producer. He is a very intelligent person.
Do you find any difficulties acting in bilingual moviesIJ
Working in a different language is very relaxing because you get a lot of support from the unit. When you work in another language, you just have to understand the essence of what you are saying, your work is just to memorise your line and your unit will guide you through it.
You have written Acting Smart, so are you currently associated with any writing projects or planning to bring another book to the storesIJ
An Australian publication is preparing an anthology on Indian women. I’ve just finished writing a story which will be part of their book.
Any upcoming projectIJ
My next film is lakshda. I have also done Vaibhav Misra’s untitled film which has Girish Kumar playing the lead. And Ram Gopal Varma’s film tentatively titled Affair where I play a lawyer. It is a psychological thriller set against the background of cops, courts and relationships.
Do you have any plans on exploring film making like directing or producingIJ
Yes, I am definitely looking to produce a film or play.
