Integral humanism as expounded in India’s tradition is the only panacea to many ills the nation has been suffering from, BJP’s national executive committee member PS Sreedharan Pillai has said.
Inaugurating a State level seminar on ‘Integral Humanism of Deendayal Upadhyaya’ organised by the College Adhyapak Sangh at Pandalam in Kerala’s Pathanamthitta district, Paillai said that India’s cultural nationalism had been imbibing all the noble values irrespective of their national or religious differences.
Sangh’s State vice-president MP Ajith Kumar said that among the many ancient knowledge systems that guided humanity down the millennia the manual for man India developed proved outstanding and singularly perfect. India developed coherence, a harmony of values resulting in a perfectly balanced world view, he added.
Presenting his paper on Indian educational values, Srisailam Unnikrishnan, one of the speakers, zeroed in on the concord centred nature of Indian education. Developing coherence at physical, mental and spiritual life was much emphasised in India so that education could be the manifestation of perfection in man.
