Dr Pankaj Aggarwal suggests ways to keep your skin radiant this festive season
The festive season is full of cheers and celebrations, and the last but very vibrant occasions of Christmas and New Year are yet to be celebrated this year.
For all the parties and get-togethers, you need to look bold and beautiful with an extra shiny skin. You just cannot afford to look messy with those dark circles and tiring face. Those late-night parties, excessive eating and drinking sessions can take a toll on your skin in the form of patches and dehydrated skin. Here are some methods through which one can sustain the glow of weekends in one’s appearance.
AlWAYS ClEANSE FACE
After coming home late, you feel like straight away going to bed and sleeping. But take out a few minutes to remove the make-up. Even your skin requires a clean-up to breathe, to make it look fresh for the next day.
DEAl WITH DARK CIRClES
Signs of a hectic festive schedule appear on your eyes such as the appearance of dark circles, redness in eyes and the constant pain. It can be reduced with the application of cool eye creams, cucumber tea bag remedies, which help the skin around your eye area look fresher and younger.
HYDRATE YOUR SKIN
Constant change in weather from warm to cold and vice-versa can play havoc with your skin and leave your skin dry. Drink plenty of water and increase the intake of non-aerated drinks to protect your skin all day and night.
USE lIGHT MAKE-UP
Gone are the days of glittery, heavy make-up. Opt for light base make-up along with nude colours or colours that won’t give you a shimmery look. It is advisable to keep your make-up light as it won’t damage your skin as much.
USE GOOD MOISTURISER
With October comes autumn and then winter. This is the season when dryness in the air is on the rise, leaving your skin dry and rough too. Use the correct moisturiser for your skin to keep it healthy and radiant.
