PNS

The expelled youth leaders of the Samajwadi Party including the Members of the legislative Council and office- bearers of the youth organisations met the Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav here on Saturday. However two expelled MlCs Arvind Yadav, nephew of the SP leader in Rajya Sabha Ram Gopal Yadav and Udaivir Singh were not among those who met the SP supremo.

The expelled leaders who met Mulayam Singh Yadav tendered an unconditional apology to the top boss of the party. The expelled leaders have also given an undertaking that they accept and are willing to work in the party under the leadership of the State SP president Shivpal Yadav. SP sources said the expulsion of all those leaders who met the SP chief on Saturday will be revoked soon.

The youth leaders who met Mulayam Singh Yadav included Sunil Yadav, Sanjay lather, Anand Bhaduria all MlCs and Mohammed Ebad, Brijesh Yadav, Pradeep Tiwari and Gaurav Dube.

Sunil Yadav said the meeting was held in a very cordial atmosphere and Mulayam Singh asked the youth leaders to forget the past and work for the success of the party candidates in Assembly elections in their respective districts. He said the youth leaders were given an opportunity by the party supremo to place their side of the story as to why they were expelled from the party. He said Mulayam Singh assured all the youth leaders that he would soon take decision for their reentry in the party.

The MlCs and heads of the youth organisations of the party, all owing close allegiance to the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav were expelled from the party in last two months. Most of the leaders were expelled in September after Shivpal Yadav was appointed as the State president of the party in place of Akhilesh Yadav. The youth leaders had staged demonstration in front of the party office protesting against the decision of the party removing Akhilesh Yadav from the post of state president. The youth leaders had also staged protest demonstration in front of the residence of Mulayam Singh Yadav and had also jostled with the security staff of the SP supremo.

Two expelled MlCs Uadivir Singh and Arvind Yadav were not among those who met Mulayam Singh Yadav. SP supremo is particularly angry with Udaivir Singh, who had written a letter to him asking him to step down from the post of party’s national president and hand over the reins to his son Akhilesh Yadav. Udaivir Singh in his letter had also accused Sadhna Gupta, the second wife of Mulayam Singh Yadav, of engineering conspiracy along with Shivpal Yadav to topple the Government of CM Akhilesh Yadav. Udaivir Singh had alleged that Sadhna Gupta had even employed some tantriks for black magic and other Tantrik kriya to dislodge Akhilesh Yadav from the office.
