The Delhi Police has finally lodged an FIR against AAP leader Kumar Vishwas on the charges of breaching the dignity of women. The FIR was lodged against Kumar Vishwas by Barkha Singh Shukla, Chairman, DCW.
“Vishwas has posted vulgar comment about me on Twitter, which is unbearable for me. AAP people talk about the dignity of their family but now their deeds on twitter have ruined my reputation in my family,” said Shukla.
The case has been registered under Section 509 of the IPC. However this case is bailable offense. Singh had approached to Delhi Police on May 12 regarding the ongoing tussle between her and Vishwas.
“In the nine years of mine tenure as the chairperson of DCW, I had tried my best to maintain the reputation of DCW. My commission is supporting to the female volunteer to provide honor to her without any political motivation, Said Singh.
Earlier a notice was issued to Vishwas by DCW on a complaint by a female volunteer who had alleged that he was not rebutting the rumors about their illicit relationship.
Reacting on the female volunteer’s complaint to DCW, the Commission had said that the volunteer had worked for a year in Amethi for the party and now it is a matter of her respect and honour, so Kumar Vishwas should come here and give his clarification about the matter.
In an interview, the female volunteer had alleged that Vishwas threatened her to stay quiet or else she would be killed like AAP leader Santosh Koli. Koli, who was to contest Delhi Assembly polls, was killed in a road accident in 2013.
