An audio-visual three-minute theme song for the Assembly polls reflecting the achievements of the Congress Government in Delhi in the last 15 years was released by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.

Penned by National award winning lyricist Prasoon Joshi, the song Nahin Rukegi meri Dilli talks about the need to sustain the ongoing development works in the next five years and that the pace of development is going to result in another victory of Congress. "Nahi Rukegi Meri Dilli. Anubhav Hai, Raftar hai, Congress phir Is baar hai (My Delhi will not stop. There is experience and there is momentum; Congress once again," says the lead lines of the song sung by Daler Mehndi. The song is powered by visuals dating back to the launch as well as implementation of various welfare schemes and infrastructure projects. Dikshit's Cabinet colleagues Haroon Yusuf, Raj kumar Chouhan, Arvinder Singh lovely, Mukesh Sharma, Naseeb Singh and singer Daler Mehndi were present on the occasion. Mehndi recently joined the Congress party and is seeking ticket from Sikh-dominated Tilak Nagar constituency.

Speaking on the occasion, Dikshit said that this video would be screened in the theaters as well as in all the constituencies through mobile vans. "We are going to the polls with full confidence," Dikshit said after a special screening of the video for the media at her residence. This is the first time that Congress in Delhi has come out with a film to highlight its Government's achievements.

The audio-visual shows the best airport, the largest CNG propelled public transport fleet, regularisation of 895 colonies, laying of water pipelines in these colonies, ownership rights in 45 resettlement colonies, round-the-clock power supply and increase in the installed capacity, the cheapest rates, 130 flyovers and foot over bridges, annashri yojana, kerosene-free Delhi, the highest minimum wages, the highest per capita income, the five new universities and the highest pass percentage in the CBSE board examination. The film ends with a  slogan, "Anubhav hai raftar hai, Congress phir is baar hai".
