BJP MlA Sangeet Som, who is an accused in a Muzaffarnagar riots case, on Saturday said that he has received a death threat from a man claiming to be a member of the militant group ISIS.
According to Som, he received a call on a private number around 9.30am from an unidentified man who claimed that the MlA will be killed soon, following which he has filed a police complaint.
The man made the call from Chile in South America and said that “his men have already reached India and they will kill me soon”, he claimed.
“When I asked the person on the phone to stay in his limits, he told me that he is a member of the ISIS and that they don’t kill uninformed.
