BJP deploys former IG to 'expose ugly face of Congress'

Mohit Kandhari

As a top cop he firmly dealt with anti-national elements and earned the reputation of anti-terrorism expert in his illustrious career spanning over three decades.

He remained in the thick of things and was always holding a key position in the security grid.Every time militants targeted religious places and made desperate efforts to stage hostage drama, either inside Hazratbal shrine or Raghunath temple, he led his men in uniform from the front and came out victorious and unscathed.

These days former Inspector General of Police Farooq Khan is fighting a different battle  in the poll arena and enjoying every bit of the pre-polling hullabaloo.

Khan recently joined BJP in the presence of prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi at an election meeting in Hiranagar on March 26. Since then he has been campaigning aggressively in the field in support of BJP candidates.

A prominent voice of the Muslim community Khan is giving sleepless nights to both Congress and National Conference as he is defending BJP’s PM candidate Narendra Modi in his speeches and doing his best to “expose the real face of the Congress in the eyes of the electorate”.According to Farooq Khan, “Narendra Modi is the ultimate hope and a clear wave is visible in every nook and corner of the state like other parts of the country”.

He says, congress is in panic mode as they have seen the writing on the wall. “The congress party knows they have already lost the lok Sabha polls and they are now resorting to their time tested trump card of playing a communal card to woo electorate”.

He said that the present day voter is well informed and aware of the fact that congress party alone is not the champion of minorities in this country. He says the leaders of National Conference and Congress have unleashed a negative propaganda against Narendra Modi and making attempts to once again befool the voters to seek their votes. He said the like minded people of the muslim community are determined to defeat the nefarious designs of the congress party.

He said no force on earth can now change the direction of  Modi wave. Appealing the voters not to trust Congress and NC any more, Farooq Khan said that corruption, price rise, mis-governance, soft approach towards anti-national elements, unemployment and promoting dynasty rule have been the major achievements of the Congress-led UPA and surely these will  prove suicidal for Congress in particular. Congress will become a part of history after Modi takes over as next Prime Minister of India.
