Bihar Dy CM trashes Rahul's theory

Apparently pitching for Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi has taken a swipe at Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi by countering his view that a single person cannot solve all the problems of the country.

Addressing the BJP Foundation Day ceremony at the State party headquarters in Patna on Saturday, Sushil Modi said that a single person can bring a turnaround in the situation of the country if he has the leadership qualities and a vision for the future, lambasting the Gandhi family scion for his views though without naming him.

Jai Prakash Narayan single-handedly launched the movement against the then Congress Government and similarly former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as a visionary leader made remarkable transformation in the country.

Of course, a single person requires teams to execute his plans but he can solve problems if he is blessed with the leadership qualities and a vision for the better future, he added.

Contending that the BJP will give the next PM to the country, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the Congress makes attempts to “monopolise” the practice of inclusive growth but all the BJP or NDA-ruled States have given equal opportunities to Hindu, Muslim and all other sections of the society. He said that the Congress-ruled States had not done anything so remarkable which could be copied by other States.
