Ageold problem

Julianne Moore isn't ‘crazy’ about getting older. The 52-year-old actress wishes age wouldn't take its toll on her looks, but insists she will never have cosmetic surgery because she feels it would have an impact on her career.

She said: “Everyone should do what they feel is best for them. Personally, I've not had anything done. My job means too much to me. It's important to be able to play women at all points in their lives and I don't like products that freeze your face in time. I need to show expressions. I'm not crazy about the idea of getting older, but it's part of life.” The Kids Are All Right actress wants to inspire people to think of beauty at different ages, rather than thinking someone is attractive despite their advancing years. She told the French edition of Vogue : "You often hear, 'She's attractive for her age'. A terribly condescending phrase, I find. The message I want to spread is the opposite. I want to give a positive message of beauty at a certain moment, at a specific age. It's very different and it appeals to me. It's a very inspiring and modern way of thinking.”

PS: I don’t love you

Gerard Butler has split from girlfriend Madalina Ghenea. The Olympus Has Fallen heartthrob has confirmed he is back on the market after dating the Romanian model-and-actress for more than a year, but hopes he will eventually meet the right woman. Quizzed whether he was in a serious relationship, the star told German website Filmreporter.de: “Not at the moment. But at some point I do want to settle down.” The Scottish playboy has previously been linked to a string of beauties including co-stars Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Biel, as well as reality TV star Brandi Glanville. He may have earned himself a reputation as a lothario but says he can "laugh about” his lady-loving label and doesn't taking it too seriously.

Keys in with the First lady

Alicia Keys “connects” with Michelle Obama over female empowerment. The Girl On Fire singer was one of a privileged few who were invited to perform at US President Barack Obama's official inauguration ball for his second term in January, and made good friends with the First lady. She told ES magazine: “I very much connect with Michelle. And we've done different things together that have given us so much to talk about — she's really interested in girls and empowerment too.” The 33-year-old singer is also friends with younger pop star Rihanna, 25, who she admires as she promotes such a strong and positive feminine image. She added: “It's such a tricky, crazy business, and when people are a little bit younger than me, I'm always hoping that their soul is good because it can be such a soulless space. I'm proud of Rihanna.”
